1) Clear the clutter - especially
from the floor and work surfaces.
2) Create a sense of space and light. Use muted colours unless
you know your particular Feng Shui supportive colour. Bright,
clashing colours are particularly harmful to children. Avoid
jagged shapes, vertical blinds and spiky plants. Green plants
with big round leaves are good as they absorb electromagnetic
radiation.

3) Exposed beams, pipes, wires
and cracks etc. are bad Feng Shui. Think of the building as
your body - you would not like your skeleton, veins and arteries
to be exposed! These things will eventually harm the occupants.
In particular, beams above beds, or your favourite armchair
or even desk should either be hidden or painted in the same
colour as the ceiling paint.
